Objectives

  • To gather researchers in physical and health education, sports and exercise sciences, recreation and tourism and other related disciplines in order to present and discuss recent research findings and share experience
  • To offer a stage for undergraduate, postgraduate students, scientists and researchers to present their findings in a professional forum
  • To support and promote sports agency to apply the Working Principles of King Bhumibol Adulyadej in sport lives and to create groups and network of the sport agencies to further expand.

SCOPE AND TOPICS

Format of presentation

1. Oral presentation

The language use must be in English, with a total of 15 minutes allocated to each oral presentation, including a 5 minute discussion.

2. Poster presentation

The author is required to work on his/or her poster one day before the presentation, as specified in the program of the conference. The author is expected to be at the exhibition during the assigned sessions, in particularly, during the opening ceremony for the poster presentation.


Poster preparation

1. Poster layout

All manuscript must be printed in English on a poster size of 90 x 120 cm (width x height). The Title, use bold, Times New Roman, font size 100 pt., and the text font is at least 32 pt.. The poster must include the illustration. The author presented in poster format need to take responsibility of his own costs and bring the poster to the conference venue himself.

2. Poster format

It must include Title, Author and Co-authors, Institution, Significance of the study, Research Objectives, Methodology, Result Findings, Discussion and Conclusion and References.

3. Installation Poster

Poster Presentation will be installed throughout the conference from August 19th – 21th, 2018 and the presenter can install and storage poster by him / herself.


Paper submission dates

  • Abstracts submission deadline 31 May 2018
  • Abstracts acceptance 20 June 2018
  • Paper submission 10 July 2018

Manuscript preparation guidelines

The length of paper may be up to 10 pages for oral presentation and up to 3 pages for poster presentation.

Manuscripts should be prepared for -1 side of the paper and have either:

  • A4 size (8.27 in x 11.69 in; 21.0 cm x 29.70 cm)
  • All text must be printed with Times New Roman font, and single-spaced.
  • The text located within the margins specified top-bottom-left-right margins of 1 inch or 2.54 cm
  • Author should use only Times New Roman and Symbol fonts. All contributions should use 12 pt font size for the normal text.
  • Page header must be set at 0.49 inch. from the right top edge of the page.
  • Indented paragraph is at 0.5 inch.
  • Use a two-column format, and set the spacing between the columns at 10 mm (0.40 in)
  • Illustration must be saved in .jpg file, with at least 300 x 300 dpi.

Title

  • The title should use 14 pt bold uppercase letters (except for units, e.g., DeB) and be centered on the page.

Authors and co-authors

  • Author’s name should indicate only given name and last name without the title or degree and be listed in 12 pt uppercase and lowercase letters. When there is more than one author, the submitting author’s name should be listed first, followed by other names, and put asterisk (*) after the last name of the presenter.
  • Use 12 point, aligned right, with address under the name. The full address and further information must be listed at the footnote in the same page of an abstract.
  • An abstract must not exceed two A4 pages, and single-spaced.
  • It should include sufficient information for reviewers to judge the nature and significance of the research, basically covering objectives, research methods, result, discussion, and conclusion.
Use 12 point, bold, italic, with 3-5 keywords.
  • Section headings should use 12 pt bold uppercase letters (eg., METHODS). They must not be numbered. Be on the left aligned in the column.
  • The paragraph between each section heading should be 8 pt.
  • Subsection headings should use 12 pt italic uppercase and lowercase. The initial letters of significant words are capitalized.
  • Figure captions should be placed below the figure and centered.
  • When referring to a figure within the text, the convention is to use the abbreviated form (i.e., Fig. 1), unless the reference to the figure is at the start of the sentence, the author use Figure 1 (form). For example: Figure 1 demonstrates a model of…., as shown in Fig. 1 the model of ….
  • Table headings should be placed above the table and on the left aligned of table.
  • The initial letters of the table heading are capitalized, and the absence of a period at the end of the caption.
  • When referring to a table from within the text, the convention here is not to abbreviate, i.e., Table 1
  • List references at the end of the paper, in order of citation in the format of APA (American Psychological Association).
  • All references listed must be cited and all cited references must be included in the reference list.
  • References are written in 10 pt.

All manuscripts will be reviewed by the editorial committee of the conference.

Selected papers for the 8th IPEIC 2018 will be published in the Academic Journal of Institute of Physical Education (AJIPE) by the Academic Contribution Affair, Institute of Physical Education, Thailand (Available at: http://www.journalipe.ac.th). AJIPE was certified quality by Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) centre in group 1 of science and technology.

Thai-Impact Factor 2017 2016 = 0.085.
